Help! if you remember ancient history! I am needing to access
some old calendars created on the bns. I can either try to
restore on an old bns or I can copy files from the computer which
were downloaded from the bns and then read them on the voicenote.
1 Does anyone remember how to restore files on the bns?
2 If not, does anyone know the name of the software on the
computer which would let you print a bns file into a file. There
was some weirdness about certain contractions which would not
translate correctly from bns to any other braille device.
X is crucial for work that I get at these old calendars. If
anyone can help I'd really appreciate it! While this might be
slightly off topic, I can't think of any group more likely to
know about the tricky problem of transporting files from bns to
voicenote!
Touching a bns after working with the voicenote is strange. The
bns feels like a toy. Someday, at one convention or another
there could be a trivial pursuit based on obsolete commands. How
do you enter screen review in Vertplus? What is the top of file
command in Wordstar?
Anyway, thanks for any assistance!
