Dear BrailleNote list,

Well, after doing a bit of searching around on the internet on HCSD cards, I
have found out the following:
* speed of 150x or PRO
* 8-32 GB capacity
* 2.7-3.6 Volts
* Water Proof
* Dust Proof
* Extreme Temperature Proof
* Data last up to 10 years
* Is not backwards compatible with standard SD slots
* $90-500

This is what this means for the BrailleNote family of products. At the
moment the current SD slot does not support HCSD cards, but it can be
supported through a firmware update, if HumanWare decides to put out a
firmware update. It is also possible to use a USB SD card reader to plug
into your USB ports on the mPower,There is also a CompactFlash SD card
reader that will allow for you to utalize these HCSD cards on your mPower or
PK.

If one decides to purchase an 8GB SD card with one of the adapters, it will
most likely be under $100 as compared to purchasing an 8GB CF card which is
$150.

I just wanted to share the information.

Kevin
