Yes, this is something that I'm experiencing on this end as well.

Subject: [Braillenote] trash folder behaving oddly
My trash folder is going crazy! I erased 3 emails, and it
prompted me to erase the trash folder. I did, and it said "trash
emptied of 1 email", then, when I tried again to get rid of the
other 2, it said 0 email erased. A bit later I erased 1 email,
emptied the trash, and was informed that 6 email had been erased.
Again, my inbox is whiped clean because of this upgrade. Sure
some bugs are fixed, but I am short about 40 emails.
