Robert & List

Depending on the cards resident in the BrailleNote at Power On, it is
possible to get the card eject and re-insertion message. This is not new
to KeySoft 7.5.

The normal way that Windows CE works is that when you turn on the power it
does a virtual eject and re-insertion of the card. Windows CE passes these
messages to KeySoft but doesn't say whether the events are real or virtual.
In order to not bother users with unnecessary messages we suppress the ones
that we can determine to be definitely virtual. If we suppressed the
messages more than we already do, you would then likely miss real card
insertions made close to Power On.

Windows CE also does a scan disk of all inserted cards when it powers up,
so if there are many cards, large cards, or slow access cards, plugged into
the unit, the virtual eject and re-insertion message may not be always be
suppressed by our built-in suppression as this is only enforced for a set
time period after power-up.

Hello Humanware Development Team,
I have an issue that needs to be looked at for the 7.5 patch.
When I have a network card and or a hard drive plugged in,
I get a message every time I turn the bn on and off again, which
is memory card or network card removed, then a second later, it
will say memory card or network card ready.
Thanks,

Robert Stigile
