Terry, you have to go into a drive list before you can select the type of drive to use. So, for example, when you open a document from within the Wordprocessor, and if asked for a drive, you press space to open the list of drives, then type s for SD card. The same is true for CompactFlash card or Hard drive, except you type c or h respectively. Hope that helps. I should know this, but how do I get to my cf or sd card from my main menu or word processor. I keep ending up at the main menu.
