Chris, Unless this is what is required only of the BT model, this is not the case. I have .doc as my default document in key word. I have never translated a document and they always work. If this is no longer the case, then it is a problem with the upgrade.

First, you didn't send the original document, and second, it is recommended that you use the export document option, found from within the translation menu, which can be found under the file manager menu.
