Chris,

Unless this is what is required only of the BT model, this is not the case.
I have .doc as my default document in key word. I have never translated a
document and they always work. If this is no longer the case, then it is a
problem with the upgrade.

Cindy

Brandon, two things. First, you didn't send the original document, and
second, it is recommended that you use the export document option, found
from within the translation menu, which can be found under the file manager
menu. I think this has been a long standing bug and they hope to fix it in
the next major release of Keysoft. Hope that helps.

Subject: [Braillenote] bug with text when saving documents in keysoft
7.5build 18

Hi list i encountered this bug last night when trying to save an assigmnent
for my english class.
I saved my file as a microsoft word document on the MPower and when i went
to go read the document it was nothing but gibberish.
This didn't happen until i upgraded to build eighteen.
Just thought i would let everyone on list know about this if it hasn't been
addressed.
Brandon
