Hi there,
The Keyboard Emulator is availible for all BrailleNote models
(QT's being exception). The keyboard emulator has set of
commands that, when pressed, emulates a certain key on the QWERTY
keyboard (for example, if a user presses BACKSPACE with c, then
the keystroke presses CTRL key). This is used for inputing
keystrokes from your BrailleNote.
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: RE: [Braillenote] keyboard emulator
How does the keyboard emulator work? I gather it is in the
Terminal for
ScreenReader, but is it only available for MPowers? I have a PK
and that
section of my user manual seems to have disappeared.
If it is available for PK's, can someone please tell me how to
activate and
use it?
Thanks
Kylie

Subject: [Braillenote] keyboard emulator... again
Hi again,
The emulator is working, but in the general commands of the help
menu on the BN, the last two options just say "for ...". Space-h
tells me "type the command here". When I press a key, I am taken
back to the emulator.
Two questions: 1. What is this? A way of giving multiple
keystrokes with one Braille keystroke, like a macro? 2. If so,
how do I define said keystroke, and ifn not, what is this? The BN
user manual says nothing about it; there is actually nothing on
the entire emulator.
Have a great day,
Alex
