Hi, I can't remember how long it takes me to do my classic but
you can check what level the battery is up to by pressing read
with escape. This should tell you the level of the battery and
then you can judge how much longer it has to go. Of course this
is for a qt but you don't say what you have.
Hope this helps,
from Shaz
Bn classic and Pk user.

Subject: [Braillenote] recalibrating the battery, VoiceNote
Classic
Hi All,
I have the VoiceNote Classic running KS 6.11 that work purchased
for me.
When recalibrating the battery, how long should the recharge take
after the
VN talks itself flat? I now have it plugged in and charging;
and, when I
tap the spacebar, it tells me something like: discharge started
8:55AM,
finished 11:29PM, was for 14 hours 34 minutes, waiting for the
battery to
recharge. And, oh, yes, even though the battery was in this
cycle, the
scheduled alarm went off
this morning and I got the regular alarm menu and was able to
cancel it,
and then I hit the spacebar and was right back in to the battery
recharging
message I just quoted. By the way, although it might go without
saying, but
I started the recalibration yesterday morning at the 8:55. And,
if I'm
doing just a regular charge and not the recalibration, the
battery gets to
the 100 percent in about two hours.
