Hi there,
Try these steps:
1. Press Reset with DOTS 1-2-3 (FDS) to boot KeySoft from ROM (I personally call it KeySoft Safe Mode). 2. Go to file Manager/Directory. Then go to Flash Disk/Dictionaries folder. 3. Find a file called keysoftksaid then press BACKSPACE with dots 1-4 (CTRL plus 8 or QT) then press y to delete it. After doing that, press Reset to start KeySoft in normal mode. After few moments KeySoft should start, prompting you to set your prefered braille language, thumb-key set (if you have a BrbNote) and so forth. Everything would but; back to factory defaults at this point. Then try connecting your USB drive and see if it works.
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: [Braillenote] BN xenophobia

I was having trouble with my BN sort of recognizing two different
SD cards but not wanting to run the bootloader from them. Now I'm having trouble getting it to read from one of my USB drives as well. Maybe the battery was just low, but it wasn't that low.

What's going on here? Has anyone ever heard of this? I'm
getting to be afraid to use my flash cards.
