What I don't understand is why there isn't at LEAST a grade 1
braille table for Spanish and Italian. It would make sense.

Subject: RE: [Braillenote] Spanish Accented Letters On The
BrailleNote
Ottawa Canada
Hello Kelby and list:
The way you input accented letters on the BrailleNote depends
upon what kind of keyboard you have.
If you have a BT keyboard (Brailler style keyboard), you may put
the unit in eight-dot Braille Mode from the options menu, space
plus O, then select Braille Settings I think it is called).
You input accented letters using eight-dot Braille.
E. g. the 6 dots of the letter, plus the key for dot 7 or dot
8.
If you have a QT model (typewriter style keyboard) you must input
accented letters using the Unicode menu, which is function key
plus the letter x and work your way through the menus to find the
desired letter or symbol.
As this is tedious when writing in Spanish, you may wish to
assign Macros to frequently used accented letters.
Good luck.
