Hi Ethan,
A simple explanation: since Eloquence uses wav files for system sounds, it needs to use more memory. This is a well-known issue (I've even mentioned this on one of the chats that I've conducted).
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: [Braillenote] Eloquence Uses more
memory than KeyNote Gold

Hello all,

For those of you who didn't know, Eloquence
uses more memory than
KeyNote Gold does.
When I am at the main menu and have KeyNote
Gold turned on and
speach turned on the Support Information Mode
says:
"Vertual Memory Free: 54 percent" "Physical
Memory Free: 78
percent"

But when I change the voice to Eloquence I
get this in the
Support Information Mode:
"Vertual Memory Free: 45 percent" "Physical
Memory Free: 73
percent"

Does anyone know why this is? And also, for
those of you who use
Eloquence all the time (me as one of them)
might get the "Not
enough storage is available to prossess this
command" message
more than people who use KeyNote Gold all the
time.

Thanks!
