Hi Kathy,
It's not the WIFI. I get this error several times a day and I'm using the old ethernet card I purchased from Humanware. I'm also using KS 7.5 build 20. Besides 11001, there's 10060, 10020 and most frequently 10050. After all the resets, I just turn my Braillenote off, wait an indefinite amount of time, remove and re-insert the ethernet card, turn the BN back on and walla, it works -- for a while. Since I have not seen this problem cited on the list before, I thought it was my device or ISP. Verizon always send a technician out to check their connections for me and after they fiddle around with my modem and on the internet with their lap-tops, tell me that everything is working properly and that perhaps the fault is with my Braillenote. Verizon's tech support always ask me what operating system the Braillenote uses and then admit they have never heard of Windows ce, which is the reason a technician is sent to my home to check whatever they are responsible for doing. Most of these sighted technicians and maintenance people have never seen a notetaker either, which may be part of the problem. Maybe if someone who is knowledgable about Windows CE would, or could, explain Windows CE to the ISP's those of us using notetakers could be better served by both our devices and our choice of ISP's.

Sammie

Subject: [Braillenote] Forgot to mention re
emailing and error 11001

Hi, again,
I forgot to mention that I have performed all
four resets in this order,
plain, 456, 123 and plain, and service.
Didn't make a bit of difference,
so it must be the wifi.
As I said, using the infrared cell phone
works fine.
Kathy
