Corey,
I responded to Nikki privately, but it seems you and probably others would
like to know what was said.
I am a teacher of the blind/visually impaired and tell my students to have
as many tools in their toolbox to accomplish various tasks. Each form of
reading books has its advantages and disadvantages, but it's still another
useful tool. For example, webbraille through NLS provides mostly literary
works while bookshare and RFB&D provide literary works and textbook
materials. For example, if you were assigned "Of Mice and Men" all three
organizations have this book so you would have your choice. However, if you
need a textbook it may be available on bookshare, but not RFB&D. Have as
many tools in your toolbox so that you are never stuck. This post is
probably longer than you wanted to read (smile).

Subject: [Braillenote] Bookshare question
Hi all,
I have a quick question. I would be very intersted in hearing
from people who use Bookshare and how you feel it compares to the
Free NLS Web Braille program. Are the books easy to access on
the Braille Note? What are the advantages of Bookshare over NLS
or RFB&D? You are welcome to e-mail me privately at
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
Thanks!
Nikki B.
