Hi Nicole,

I got my first Word file containing quite a number of format markers recently. There are four Braille display reading modes, (mentioned in KeyWord under help then thumb keys--second to last section). In "edit" mode there are loads of markers, but in "reading" mode there seemed to be just the new lines and probably pages too.
Being in "reading" does not stop editing of the file.
You move through these modes with <previous>+<next> thumb keys pressed together.

Regards,
Steve.

Does 7.5 still have those format markers that come from a word
file? If so, humanware should figure out some way to get rid of them. Saving a file as a .brf file is not always a good idea because you lose formatting that you want to keep. Those format markers have made me lose work on numerous occasions, and someday it's going to be something that I'm not allowed to go back and fix.
