Hello:

Once you have written your document in braille you may choose to save it as a MS Word document. To do this use the save command, space with s and then, the file name prompt use space with x. You will have an option "all files" and, using this choice, braille in your file name with the dot doc extension. It will be saved as a MS Word document, although not a true Word document, your computer will be happy with it. Moving your file to a computer is a snap using a memory card. Your BrailleNote has a slot for a cf card in the back. Cards are not too expensive and you should be able to find a card reader that the computer can run from an usb port for 15 US dollars or so. Your PC should identify it as just another drive, much like the C or A drives. I use Word or the Windows explorer to open them.

Best of luck.
