Hi Basically I created a pass through connection so that my mPower uses my PC's internet connection. Now when I connect to the web, I get the expected "enter network password dialogue", as we have to authenticate ourselves each time we want to use the proxy server. After that web pages load at lightening speed. All good so far, right? Now here's the bad bit. When I connect to e-mail, all I get is "connecting to pop server" for a few seconds before "error 65535" appears. This is where I'm stumped. Does that make sense? If so, I look forward to any more help received. Thanks in advance. Hi Chris, Error 65535 is probably error code -1. (The same bit pattern in a word field is positive 65535 or negative minus 1). I think this simply means that something went wrong--which is not very helpful. You said you confirmed things on the mPower and the PC, what did you mean? Is that the gateway, broadcast mask and such things? Can you access the web from the mPower? Are you using an Ethernet card in the mPower? Can you ping either the pop or smtp servers from the PC?
