That's why! You are using dialup and you really need a faster connection to
take advantage of the streaming qualities necessary to make that sound
better. Without going in to too much detail it has everything to do with
buffering.

Subject: [Braillenote] INTERNET RADIO AND VOICE NOTE

Although I do not intend to listen to a lot of internet radio, I
have tried it. Sometimes I can get a station like Radio New
Zealand without difficulty, other times it keeps cutting out. I
am using dial-up.

An internet radio station for blind people, Insight Radio.co.uk,
has been heard successfully on my Voice Note, but recently itt
too has started cutting out.

Sometimes I get a message from Voice Note saying something like
"not enough memory". What do I do to clear this memory?

Finally, is it worth listening to any internet radio on Voice
Note, or should I not bother. If it is, can anyone recommend a
station which will not keep cutting out, and which I can rely on?

If someone comes back to me and says it isn't worth the trouble,
then I will accept this, until such time as I go broadband, or
get a desktop computer.

Thanks.
