Alex, I am not sure if HumanWare is planning on making the more advance features of Word available or not in a future upgrade.
But what I can say is that there are many advance formatting/editing functionality of Word that the BrailleNote as well as many PDA's cannot access. I don't believe that Pocket Word that runs on the majority of mobile devices can handle the comment functionality of Word that is available in 2000 and later. I actually think that it might have been introduced earlier, but the point is that it is an advance feature of word that requires the use of a PC to access. Even sighted people running Windows Mobile 6 will have to turn to his/her PC to use the advance features. I was reading an essay mo professor had proofed and couldn't find the comments thee mentioned at the end of the file. I asked and was told about an "insert comment" function in Word (not sure which version(s)) the puts comments about highlighted text at the end of the line. I now know that these comments do not work on the BN but think it would be great if they would. Have a great day, Alex ___ Replies to this message will go directly to the sender.
