Hi Nikki,
The ksaid file is with definition file used
to store planner settings.
The dbf/dbt files are the actual KeyPlan
database files in braille (dbf) and text
(dbt), respectively.
The ndx files are the index files.
The bak files are the backup copies of the
database and the index engines.
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: [Braillenote] Another planner
question
Hi again all. Thank you all for taking yur
time to answer my
previous question. Ann, I do have the latest
version of Keysoft
but I do not see a "restore" option in my
planner menu. When I
try to do a planner maintenance, it works for
a while but then
gives me an error and says I don't have
enough storage or
something like that. I haven't tried this
today so can't
remember the exact message. Anyway, when I
go to the Keyplan
folder on my flash disk, I have all these
files I have listed
below and don't know why. Can someone please
explain to me what
these are and if I can delete them? Thanks
so much!
Nikki B.
Files in my flash disk keyplan folder
keyplan.ksd
planner.dbf
planner.dbf.bak
planner.dbt
planner.dbt.bak
planner1.ndx
planner1.ndx.bak
planner2.ndx
planner2.ndx.bak
