Hello MR. Townsend,
I've tried copying a whole article from the USA Today Newspaper.
Well, I think you need to look at what the blockmarkers become.
If I put in the top blockmarker it becomes a question mark; or at least it says question mark when I press the key combination to read the current character; / The Character Under the curser. Then when I put in the bottom blockmarker it goes exactly where it's supposed to go; But It too becomes a question mark; at least that's what it says when I press the key combination for the VOICENOTE to read the current Character; / Or The Character under the curser.
I do not have a braille display so I can only tell you what my VOICENOTE said.
I don't know perhaps you should try storing the block instead of copying it?
Just a suggestion.
I am very sorry that this was of little to know use at all.
Sorry I couldn't be of any help.
I hope to hear from you soon!
May GOD BLESS You And Give You HIS PEACE!
From Your FRIEND, In Our LORD And SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST, And Our BLESSED VIRGIN MOTHER MARY,
Kristen

Subject: [Braillenote] copy and paste in daisy

Hello There:

The problem with copy and paste in daisy newspapers continues to
puzzle me.
I read an interesting article on the next step in wifi, wimax, in
the Saturday NY Times. I tried to copy the story by using the
block commands. The braillenote froze. When I was able to
copy the text it copied from the beginning block marker to the
end of the newspaper, not noticing the bottom block marker.

Is there a way to copy a marked block of text?
