To enable languages:
1. Go to the main menu, then press u for utilities.
2. Press l for language options.
3. Space down to "enable Spanish?" and press y.
4. Exit, and, I think, just leave the prompts you get unchanged.
Look at the Spanish computer braille table file in the
dictionaries folder of your flash disk. This lists all dot
combos. You may want to enable 8-dot computer braille to make it
easier to type in Spanish:
1. Space-o, then k.
2. Space down to "use 6 or 8 dot computer braille?" and press h
for 8 dot.
3. Space-o, b.
4. Space down to "display computer braille using 6 or 8 dots?"
and press h.
5. You can now use 8 dot braille when computer braille is
required, such as in a keyword text or any non-keyword format
file. Remember, though, to now press space with any command
that uses a dot in combination with either backspace or enter,
such as new line, speech control, task shortcuts, and so on. If
you need additional help, email me; I have been using 8 dot
Spanish computer braille for a few years and am very comfortable
with it. Good luck with your Spanish. Oh, and I recommend
slowing down the KNG voice (which is the only one that will work
with Spanish) when reading Spanish unless you are a native
speaker.
Have a great day,
Alex

Subject: [Braillenote] Update on KEYSOFT 7.5 Build 20 And A
questionregarding the foren languages?
Hello Everyone,
This Is Kristen.
Here are the first things I've noticed which are improvements in
this
Version Of Keysoft.
I'm still exploring so there will be many more I'm sure!
First: When you press the (h) cord for the help option you get a
lot more
information then you used to in 7.2.
You get a lot more explanatory detailed information.
Second: The Keynote Gold Voice is much better.
It speaks much more clearly and pronounces things much better.
I do not have any mp3 files so I can not as of right now try the
playlist
feature.
I haven't tested yet to see if you could copy and paste better
with this
version of KEYSOFT and daisie.
I did see where we now have the option if we need to use (SSL)
that we
can.
I do not think that Earthlink which is my email and internet
service
provider is using (SSL) yet.
When I upgraded my FM Radio was repaired.
Also I noticed that I can get around in frames on websites
better!
As I said though above I'm still exploring and there will be
many more
things to report I'm sure!
Now I have a question.
How do I make this thing speak spanish?
Also Would someone please send me the key combinations to the
spanish
braille code including all of the accents?
I will appreciate any and all help that any or all of you can
give me
concerning my two questions!
I can hardly wait to hear from you again!
I hope to hear from you again very soon!
May GOD BLESS You And GIVE You HIS PEACE!
From Your Friend, In Our LORD And SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST, And Our
BLESSED
VIRGIN MOTHER MARY,
Kristen
