Yes there is. At any file list, press space on a file, then press backspace 
with p on a BT keyboard. Alternatively, at the main menu, press f to open 
the File Manager menu, then p for Protect A File. Follow the prompts to 
protect/unprotect a file or a group of files. Hope that helps.
