Right ok, thanks for that. Will give it a try soon. Didn't realize it was a separate product, so was quite surprised about that. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Joseph Lee" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Hi Chris,
First, connect your brailleNote to your Vista machine using USB. Sync center
should open. After sonme time, Sync Center should download Windows Mobile
Device Center automatically.
Cheers,
Joseph

Hi Chris,
What is the name of the Bluetooth software? Is it Witcom? Also, did
you install Windows Mobile Device Center?
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: [Braillenote] BrailleNote and Vista

Hi all,
Don't know if you can help me please? I'm trying to set up my
BrailleNote mPower BT 32 to work with Windows Vista. This is so that I
can use it as a Braille display with JAWS and/or copy files from and
to the unit. However, I'm having a similar issue to what I had in
Windows XP, whereby the bluetooth software built into Vista doesn't
seem to offer the ActiveSync service. However, it does seem to offer
the only supported service, modem, whilst the other two, headset and
object exchange, are of course unsupported. Should I install
ActiveSync for this, or should the bluetooth software offer the
service. I'm quite new to Vista, so please be patient with me as things
are a lot different than they were in XP.
Thanks in advance for the help.
