Hi Kerri,
Accolrdingt to a BrailleNote developer, mPower and Classic uses Nickel metal
Hydrite (NiH)). PK uses Lithium Ion. NiH and LiIon are two different battery
types, although both have things in common: both will lose its charge
capacity over time. That's all I know (someone who studied chemistry and
electrical engineering may answer you in detail).
Cheers,
Joseph

Ok, now I am really befuzzled. I thought m powers used lithium ion, and
that is why they keep their charges and can be charged partially before
running flat. Was this a mistake on the part of the sender or was someone
else on the list wrong the other day when I asked what battery type was
used?
Kerri
