Hi All,

After several weeks of trial and error, with helpful suggestions from list
members and Tech Support, I finally got my PK to connect properly to the
Internet via Bluetooth using my Nokia N70 on Vodafone. As at least one person
had seen the same problem, I thought I'd let the list know the outcome with a
couple of pointers.

Firstly, there is a bug which prevents you from entering any additional modem
string when using Bluetooth. Humanware are aware of this and looking into it.

Secondly, and more usefully, connection is possible without that string, even
though my Network told me the string was necessary. The one setting which
made this possible was on the phone, under Tools, Settings, Connection, Packet
Data. Here the Access Point needs to be entered manually, and it must be the
correct Access Point Name. Mine had been set wrongly by Vodafone, using the
connection name rather than the Access Point Name. It's a tiny detail but
made all the difference and might help at least Peter W to get connected.

It was worth the trouble, as it's a seriously useful thing to have Email and
Web pretty much wherever you go.

All the best,

Peter
