The QS is a speech only device, that is correct, Kevin.

The Pronto QS sounds like a speech only based device, thus will not support
Braille. This would be similar to the VoiceSense but a
QT version.

That sounds very interesting indeed.
I've had several clients who feel they do much better typing on a QWERTY
keyboard, but like to be able to read braille.

I think it would be a tremendous item if the keys are not too small to type
comfortably.

Just for anyone who is unaware, the BrailleNote PK is a U.S. and U.K.
version of the BAUM Pronto. Well there's another version of the Pronto,
known as the QS. To get an idea of how big it is, take a Braille 'n Speak,
extend it's length by 1 inch on either end, and smash a full QWERTY keyboard
(complete with Windows key) into that space. That is the Pronto QS and I've
wondered why Humanware won't be adapting it. I have a feeling it has to do
with the existence of the VoiceNote QT but in all honesty I have never seen
a QWERTY based note taker this small. This thing can pretty much fit in your
pocket, not unlike the BrailleNote PK. This would be a good thing for those
of us who prefer speech but want something a little more portable than the
VoiceNote QT, while still having a full size keyboard. Any thoughts on this?
