Ah. After pressing read with i, press r. If prompted, plug in the AC adaptor and let it recalibrate. This may take up to 20 hours, so plug in something like headphones or place the BN/VN to somewhere where the chatter won't disturb or annoy you. Good luck.

It's a QT.

I am confused as when I try to do a drain using FUNCTION O and READ I,
it asks me to reinsert the charger. I have tried ignoring that and it
drains ok but still does not seem to get anywhere.

Hi, do you have a BT or QT for your BrailleNote/VoiceNote? This would
allow
us to give exact instructions. Thanks in advance.

I have followed the instructions in the manual:

1. Completely recharge
2. Flatten the battery using the drain feature
3. Plug back in and recharge

However, once it has recharged, it just starts draining again. If I
drop out of that process, the battery is still not calibrated.

Can somebody tell me how to recalibrate the battery?

Graham Lewis
