I like eloquence, but I also know it's a memory hog.
It lags a little behind in speed as well.
What I do now if I remember, is to switch to Keynote gold when going online on account of the fact that I run out of memory if I try to go on more than one web site. Kn Gold seems to do a little better with this situation and I don't run out of memory as much. I really think something should be done make the bn get rid of some of it's virtual memory from time to time something like recycle bin on the pc. That way, you wouldn't have all this running out of memory problem. Another way is to give the user a way to make the virtual memory bigger. I notice that I still have a lot of physical memory left even if the virtual is for example, 5 percent. Why not give the user a way to make the virtual memory bigger so that he-she can do things without having worry about running out in the middle of his work?

I am very much in favour of Keynote Gold.

I had Keynote Gold on my original Keynote machine in the mid
eighties, then, when I bought my desk-top 486 machine I again
chose Keynoate Gold as the speech synthesiser, with Mastertouch.
I was using that until earlier this year when, after fifteen
years' unbroken service, my DOS computer gave up. I had no
hesitation in going for Keynote Gold again and choosing
Voicenote.

PETER WILKINS.
