Hi Tina. The mPower doesn't come with wireless built in; you need to purchase a compatible wireless card. I got mine from HumanWare, so you should be able to as well. In terms of dial-up, all I know is that the mPower comes with a 56K modem, and since I don't have a PK (and I don't want one either <grins>), I've no idea. Hope that helps, and good luck in obtaining your new acquisition, the BrailleNote/VoiceNote mPower!

Subject: [Braillenote] m-power questions

I tried sending this a little bit ago, but think I sent it to someone rather than to the list as I had wanted so, will try again. I'm getting an m-power soon and wanted to know if I need to buy a wireless card for it or if that is built-in and if I do need a card, how much are the HW ones and is that the only place i can get one? My person who did the tech assessment for the state which is helping me, is certain wireless is built-in, but I didn't thiink so so wanted to be sure also, doo the m-powers come with dial-up modems? I couldn't remember which didn't, that one or the pk. I can't wait to get it but wanted to find some things out first.
