Eric, This is my opinion and others are more than welcome to share theirs.
I believe that both are closed-platforms meaning that it isn't possible to install third-party applications. The mPower/PK and VoiceSense all have Bluetooth built-in. I have interpreted from attending Online Seminars that the VoiceSense is really similar to a Windows environment where it is required to tab to different choices and navigate drop-down boxes, where KeySoft has its own straightforward way of making all of this really accessible and intuitive. The difference with getting the GPS for the VoiceSense and PK/mPower is if you get it from Sendero and for the BrailleNote then you will be able to get support directly from Sendero, which is excellent and is backed from decades of experience in the field. Also since you already are familiar with the BrailleNote, the learning curve will be minimal as the Sendero GPS builds on the foundation that KeySoft offers. I personally would do the transplant and get the Sendero GPS for the BrailleNote. Hi, I've had a BrailleNote BT since 2004. I've thought about upgrading to an MPower off and on for the last two years as well as getting the Sendero GPS. However, now that the Sendero is available for the Voice Sense, I'm tempted to purchase that instead. The only disadvantage with the Voice Sense is the lack of a built-in braille display and the extra cost of buying a USB braille display. However, features like built-in WiFi and BlueTooth make it very appealing. I was wondering whether anyone who has used both could give me some feedback.
