Hi, I have tried that but still no luck so I really think the
card is stuffed.
Thanks for suggesting it anyway it was worth a try. And you gave
a great description of how to protect or un protect the card.

Hi Shaz,
I just had an idea, but it could be a stab in the dark, so please
excuse me if I'm barking up the wrong tree. Could your SD card
possibly be write-protected? The reason I'm wondering about that
is
because my SD card copies fine on my laptop when it is right
protected, but on the mPower it only works when the write-protect
switch is in the read-write position. Just in case, I'll try and
describe here how to put the switch on an SD card in the
read-write position.
Hold the card with the label side facing upwards. The cut off
corner
is at the top right, and the notches on the underside are on the
top
edge of the card. If you run your finger or fingernail along the
left
side of the card, you will find a gap, I guess it's around 5ML
long?
There is also a gap on the right edge of the card, but it's only
half
the size of the gap on the left edge. Near the gap on the left
edge,
there is a slider which is the right-protect switch. To be able
to
write to the SD card in the mPower, the switch needs to be slid
towards the bottom edge of the card, and when the switch is in
the
write-protect position it is towards the back edge of the card,
which
as I said is the edge that contains the cut off corner on the
right,
and the notches on the underside of the card.
By the way I just reread the part in the user guide about SD
cards,
and I've correctly described how to hold the card, I've gone into
a
bit more detail though, so I hope some of this info is useful. If
you
wish to refer to the BN user guide about SD cards, refer to
section 2.6
Cheers,
Tanya
