Hi, actually, GPS 3.5 used to use that folder to store the manuals along with Keysoft. In version 4.0 and above the GPS manuals are in flash disk\gps\manual along with the other necessary files for gps.
If HW has an upgrade for the manual and no software it would be installed on the flash disk in the manual folder. In this way it would not be lost after a hard reset. Hope this helps.
