Hi Chris and list,
Techanically, there are two "wireless encryptions" - WEP and WPA. Slight
correction: WEP actually stands for Wired Equivalent Privacy.
Cheers,
Joseph

Hi. WEP, or wireless encryption protocol, is one of the secure ways of
accessing a wireless network. It requires one to enter a WEP key, or a
series of numbers and letters, in order to successfully connect.
Unfortunately, it is not as secure as WPA, as someone could easily remember
the WEP key and access your network. Hope that helps.

Hey listers could anyone explain to me how wep works with the router?
I know it is the only security type the bn supports now. Thanks for
any help.
