They are stuck until they upgrade Windows ce, which is more possible now that they are not upgrading for the classic as well--the classic cannot support a newer version of ce than 4.2 but now that it is just the mPower and pk, which can, hopefully hw will decide it is time to get going and give us a huge update with the next release. I think it only fair since 7.5 was not too much more than a maintenance release anyway.

Have a great day,
Alex

When is The humanware team going to get it that WEP is
antiquated, and an
old insecure system, and WPA is the better security system didn't

This is a university wireless network, where I work, so I don't
have the
option of changing it.

The BN supports WEP but not WPA.
You can change your network so it uses WEP incription rather than
WPA.

Well I finally found a bit in one of the manuals that states that
the
Braillnote and Voicenote does not support WPA. So I guess that
is that -
there seems no way I can use it for wireless connection.

I have to say I am not too impressed with this gadget. I have
had it for a
few years and never really got to grips with it. The software
interface is
clunky and so far all the advertised connectivity features have
failed for
some reason or another. Whoever built the hardware did a really
food job -
it is robust abd well designed but the software lets it down.

I have revisited using the device half a dozen times but I think
I am
finally ready to give up and go for a small mainstream laptop
that I can
adapt.

I have heard good things about the ICON but I think I need to
stay clear of
gadgets designed for the accessibility market.

Will, try performing a 4-5 (j-k) reset. To do this, hold down
dots 4-5, or
press j-k if you're using a QT, whilst pressing the reset button.
Let go
after you hear the last of the 5 tones. Hope that helps.
