Hi, just a guess, but when the BrailleNote goes into "hybernation", all hardware devices, including removable ones, will lose power. However, when you "wake it up", the power will be re-established. This is a bit like putting your Windows desktop/laptop into standby/hybernation, if it works that way. Hope that helps. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kerri Smith" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Subject: [Braillenote] wireless cardquestion about reconnecting to wireless

Hi list,
I think I saw someone post about this earlier but the archive illudes me.
I just got a wireless card, the connect plus from Sandisk, which works great by the way, and I have noticed that if I let my braille note bt go inactive and it goes into sleep mode or whatever it's called, and then I'm ready for another activity, as soon as I press whatever keys I need to wake it up again, it says network card ready, but I never removed and re-inserted it. It's not a big problem, I was just curious if someone might have an idea as to how often this happens, and is it necessarily a bug, or just something that happens because it loses the connection? I don't know a lot about how windows CE works, so I don't know if it's CE or keysoft's issue. It's not annoying, just a curiosity. I never lose my web page, but if I have to hit another link and the bn was asleep, I have to re-connect.
Kerri
