I've never had a service contract after the original warranty
when I first got my BN. The biggest expense has always been
shipping. Or one of the bi"est. It's usually cost us around $80
just to ship the BN. That covering $6'000 worth of insurance.
Well worth the price, especially if UPS damaged it in shipping.
I don't think having a service contract is worth all the bother.
The cost of cleaning is not $500 a year for pete's sake. I've
enjoyed this unit so much, and will continue to do so. There is
no car maker that offers you a credit if they stop making the
parts for your car. You either look on Ebay or somewhere else to
find those parts, or you have to get a different car. I have to
say that I'm rather sorry I subscribed to this list, except for a
few folks who have been helpful in answering questions about the
BN. That's why I subscribed. I am officially unsubbing. Hope
you all aren't disillusioned and disappointed by GW Micro or
somebody else down the road. There's no perfect company, and
although I do hope that Humanware updates CE, I'll just keep
plugging along with my BN, and bugging Kevin when I have
questions. Again, thanks to those who have tried to make this
list a helpful place. Debby
