OK, my Braille note should be ariving tomorrow. Yippeee! OK, I have a few
questions for yall. One a these may seem really really really really basic,
the other may not. OK, on the bottom most row a keys not the bgraille thumb
keys, I mean on the keyboard itself, on the same row that has the space
bar... From left to right, can someone tell me what keys I'll have as far
as like function, menu, etc? Again starting from the left working to the
right, on past the space bar, to the right side of the unit. The second
thing that I wonder is I want to ask for a wireless card for Christmas since
I'm not gonna have one included in the box. Having said that. I don't want
my folks to have to pay too much. I have a Linksys RT54GS Wireless router
with a speed booster. Right now I am set to wep incription 128 bit. Will
this pose an issue, and if not, then what card shall I use. Also, I have
one of those voice over IP phone providers kind a like vonage. This one
actually is their compeditor called Packet 8. Because Packet 8 is the
nature of a digital based phone line, with voice over IP packets in, and
out, will this work with the dialup modem on board the thing? This is the
type Braille Note that doesn't have a dongle cord to go from the modem to
the wall. This has a standard phone jack in the unit so just take a
standard phone cord I guess to into the unit and the other end to the wall.
I hear any phone cord will do. I just wanna know so that in the ming time
before I get the card if I wanna go online, can I, or would I have to go to
my folk's where there is a physical treditional lan line through Winstream
communications. Any who, let me know, please as soon as yall can.
Remember, as for the wi fi card, I need to have an exact web site to pass to
my folks to order it, and I need specificly the make, model, and cost. BTW,
I'm in the US obviously so I need it quoted to me in USD.
Thank you all very kindly.
Your friend always:
