The simple reset just clears ram. The 4-5-6 reset clears off all
the contents of the keysoft system disk and registry. This means
that all cookies, files you may have stored on the ks system disk
(different from the flash disk), and network places and bluetooth
device settings you had saved will be erased. There is also
1-2-3 reset which makes keysoft start from the ks system disk and
not touch the flash disk at all. This means that extras you have
installed like the gps or dictionary will not appear. Don't
panic: they will come back with a push of the reset button with
no keys held down. Just so you know, reset-4-6 loads the
bootloader and a simple (no-key) reset returns you to the main
menu and a 4-5 reset causes keysoft to look for an upgrade. It
is highly recommended that you remove all cards before performing
a reset, though I have never had problems with cards remaining in
when I do a simple reset and have not tried anything past that
with cards. HTH.

some resets. But, a friend suggested that I hold down 4-5-6 with
the reset. Can you tell me what the difference is between these

Try a press of the reset with no keys held down. You do not need
more memory cards, you need that reset to clear the ram on your
unit as it is full and the old version of Windows that the bn is
running does not know how to free it without a reset.

website, then hear that above message. I wonder if I
accidentally entered something I should not have. Anybody got an

not much else. Should I buy more memory cards? A friend says
