I agree with you, the policy should be a corporate world wide policy, unless there are trade restrictions in certain countries which would prohibit a overall world wide policy. I doubt there are any trade restrictions which would prohibit a world wide policy.
It is in our interest to ask that the Attorney General's office in California look into the matter. -- Earlene -------- Original Message -------- Subject: RE: [Braillenote] mPower Extended Service Contracts From: Sharon Campbell <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Tue, December 11, 2007 1:50 pm To: Earlene Hughes <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [email protected] Hi Earlene and List: The question I would ask you, Earlene, is this: If Humanware is the same worldwide, and not part Humanware and part Pulsedata, shouldn't the policies be the same company wide so we could all get correct information? I'm sorry, but I don't buy it!! Hope is a good breakfast, but it is a bad supper. Each day we hope for accomplishment and satisfaction and we'll achieve these when we scale our hopes to our real capacities. There's no more satisfying feeling than finishing a project we've set up ourselves, tailored to our abilities, and worked at with patience and care. Our lives can be filled with such successes. Learning to live means learning to keep ourselves in the present. This day is all we really have to work with. Of course today will be influenced by what has already happened; and its influence will extend to tomorrow, next week, and beyond. But all we can make or do lies here, within this window of space and time. May my supper be contentment. I'll breakfast on hope again. > ----- Original Message ----- >From: Earlene Hughes <[EMAIL PROTECTED] >To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] >Date sent: Tue, 11 Dec 2007 09:42:30 -0700 >Subject: RE: [Braillenote] mPower Extended Service Contracts >Thank you Maurice, for providing this information to us. >I want you to know that I always read your messages on this list when every you post them. >I also know that you work very hard to support the BrailleNote family of products. >For me, the US implemented the policy on the 5th of December, not the 8th, as described below. >I regret that Humanware staff here in the US could not have told us about the policy change in a more professional manner. >I have been a customer of various blindness technology products since the 1970's. >I remember when Telesensory Systems could no longer get parts for the Optacon 1C models.
