Terry and Brian,

I figure that we are all also on the BrailleNote list and that I bring the
disussion on the mPowers and SDHC cards to the proper
list. It is possible to purchase 4GB SD cards that are non-HC, which the
BrailleNote will support as long as it isn't HC. It also
seems that it is very rare but non-HC SD cards exist for capacity of 8GB. I am
currently using a 4GB non-HC SD card in my mPower
without any problems whatsoever.

I would recommend to have a dedicated storage medium for one device. For
example, purchase a 16GB CompactFlash card for the
BrailleNote and another type of card for another device.

Subject: [VRStream] Re: SD Card Sizes For the Mpower and Stream

Ottawa Canada

Dear Terry:

The Stream can use regular, low capacity SD cards from 0 up to
and including 2 GB.

It requires SDHC cards for capacities of 4 GB and up.

The Mpower cannot use any size SDHC card. However it will work
nicely with regular, low capacity SD cards of from 0 to 2 GB in
size.

So the Mpower and Stream can interchange SD cards of up to and
including 2 GB storage capacity.

Perhaps a future software update for the Mpower will let it use
SDHC cards, but for now, it can't do anything with them!

Hope this explains the situation/.

Brian
