The bn will not play audible files since they are protected with
drm (digital rights management) but you can use a program like
Sound Taxi to convert these protected .wma files into unprotected
mp3 files. I have heard of this being done by many people, but
have never tried it myself. I think that particular program is
about $30, and other programs may do the same thing. You could
also burn the file(s) to a cd and rip them as mp3 files.
Have a great day,
Alex

Subject: [Braillenote] Braillenote and Audible Support
Just a quick question. I was thinking about downloading books
from
audible.com, but I'm not sure if the BrailleNote is able to play
Audible's books. I would be annoyed if, after going through the
whole
payment and download process, a book wasn't able to play
properly.
So, is there anyone out there who knows for sure whether or not
Audible books can be played on the BN family of products? If they
aren't supported directly, is there a work-around that will allow
for
their playback?
Much thanks in advance. Oh, I am using a BN BT, running Keysoft
7.2, build 47.
