Robert, Well, the three hours before surely wasn't normal. With a SD card, CompactFlash and a wireless card inserted in the unit, especially the wireless card the battery life will be cut in about half due to the high battery drain caused by the wireless card. This is also true if a USB hard drive or something with a lot of energy drain is plugged into the USB port of the mPower.
I have found that if just a CompactFlash card is inserted and I am running the GPS with Bluetooth on that the unit will last close to 15 hours. So, this is expected with the amount of cards being inserted for the duration of use, especially with the wireless card. It was lasting me about 3 hours per charge, which apparently was due to the motherboard. I told the tech support that the battery was only lasting 3 hours. Now, that I have it back, I have found that it will only last 7 hours now on a charge. I am wondering, if this is normal with the battery, when I have a network card, sd card, and cf card in the unit, or if it should last longer.
