Hi list,
I'm at home wireless again. It seems that if I connect to the net somewhere else, like work, by cable like active sync, I can get another IP address and then it works wirelessly after the active sync connection. For instance, last night, I did the 4-5-6 reset, then it screwed up. I waited till this morning, because in the past it would give me the error for about 1 hour and stop, but this morning it was still giving the error. Then I went to work, forgot about the wi-fi and did it by cable on my mom's pc, and when I came home, I had the idea to try it again just to see if a fresh new IP address had been assigned, and voila, it worked again. Any ideas? I'm calling tech support sometime either today, if my mouth gets better in time before they close, (I have a dentist appointment), or Monday. It's almost like the IP address from my previous session is no longer good, but it keeps trying to use it and will not accept another one. I wish I knew a way to clear out the current IP and get another, because no amount of resets, whether regular or 4-5-6 works. I also tried removing and re-inserting the card as the error message requests, to no avail.
