Hi, but I think that's for XP computers. Vista apparently handles
Bluetooth serial ports differently than XP, in that only incoming
ports can be created, not outgoing ones. Well, outgoing ones can be
created, but the BrailleNote/VoiceNote doesn't provide services for
the computer to see. Hope that helps.

Sheronda, I would advise you to visit
www.blind-geek-zone.net. You'll find an audio podcast in regards to
the braille note being use as a braille display. joseph does a good
job in explaining how to pair your device with your computer. HTH.

Subject: [Braillenote] Bluetooth Braille Display with Vista
Hello all,
First, I want to report that I am now up to Keysoft 7.5 build 28! I
took care of that today.
Next, I wanted to ask if there are instructions on using the BN mPower
as a braille display via bluetooth with a Windows Vista computer? If
those instructions have been posted already, please forgive me for
overlooking them. If you all feel that I am cluttering the list with
this question, can the instructions be sent to me offline? Thanks a
million!
Sharonda
