At the top of the file, press read control b b 1. That's how you change the translation code from grade 2 to grade 1. Now, you will be able to emboss the file in grade 1.

Remember that to keep the translation code, you'll have to save the file as a KeyWord text file.

Subject: [Braillenote] embossing in grade 1

How can I switch between which grade I want to emboss in? I am using word
document NOT a braille file and I am using a QT NOT a BT.

I usually emboss in grade 2 but I want a few copies in grade 1.

TIA,
Cindy
