Hi Carol,
When I went to the URL you specified, I don't
see "product" link.
Fatal application error means, as the name
suggests, that KeySoft has done something
which Windows CE kernel found unacceptable.
In this case, I'm 90% confident that it's got
something to do with memory addressing - that
is, KeySoft accessed some memory location
that it isn't supposed to use.
(This is the reason why we should have
multiple threaded KeySoft so that if one
thread does not work, the other can still
work; Alex might be able to explain this in
more detail). You are correct: Reset seems
to fix the problem.
Cheers,
Joseph P.S. Alex, Jonathan, any ideas?

Subject: [Braillenote] fatal application
dialog error
Please help, I'm going through withdrawl.
lol.
About the same time I upgraded my bn to 7.5
build 28 qvc
(shopping channel) updated there web site.
I was able to use the site fine until then.
Now whenever I try to click on a product link
I get the message
(an illegal opperation has been performed by
keysoft exe and will
be shut down if it persists. . exception no.
0xc00000fd)
I may not have the exact wording but the
number is correct.
After receiveing this message I can not even
exit without doing a
reset. The error does not seem to happen
when I click on a
customer service link, only products.
I have talked to there customer service and
they have no answers
but say they will pass it along but I never
hear back from
anyone.
The web site is wwwddqvcddcom.
Please help, I'm missing all of the end of
the year clearance
sales. grin
