The problem is voltage. The MPowers cannot take anything with a power requirement of 5 volts; the device in question must draw no more than 3.3 volts.

Have a great day,
Alex

Hi William

I have spoken with Tom Burton, in our technical department, the
5
gigabyte microdrives will not work with your BrailleNote that
has
now been transplanted to an mPower.

Should you require anything further, please do not hesitate to
contact me.

Best Wishes - Kirsty

Kind Regards

Hi William

Thank you for your email, Andy Flatres will be in touch with you
regarding your BrailleNote.

An order has gone onto our system on 18/01/08 for an Ambicom
WIFI
Card (£60.00). The WIFI Card will be sent out to you with your
transplanted BrailleNote.

In the meantime, should you require anything further, please do
not
hesitate to contact me.
