Hi, if you want to run your braillenote internet through your
PC's connection then you do need active Sync. Also you need a USB
cable that came with your Braillenote. In the option menu under
connectivity menu, you go to the first option. You give it
whatever name you like then next is device to use, choose
ethernet network connection. Then fill out the rest depending on
what your internet provider needs.
I have used this to use my Uncle's internet when staying with
him, this way I didn't need to put any screen reading software on
his computer just needed Active Sync and it still meant that my
parents could use the computer while I was on the net. If they
wanted to use the net at the same time as me because it was dial
up it slowed it down for both of us but it still worked.
