For some odd reasons, I can open Word 2003
documents with no problems (at least on build
28 of KeySoft 7.5).
I guess it is time for yet anosr statistical
study for me to conduct, with the condition
that:
Null hypothesis: there is no difference in
Word handling procedure with KeyWord - in
other words, there is no problem with Word
2003 documents.
against
Alternate hypothesis: There is statistcaally
significant evidence that there are issues
with Word support.
with Inference of 95% confidence level with
margin of error of plus or minus 5%.

My main concern is the MS Word support.
If HumanWare does not upgrade
the MS Word support to at least support Word
2003, if not 2007, within the
next year or so, I believe that will start
causing serious compatibility
problems. If HumanWare does not support Word
2003 in the next upgrade
release of KeySoft, I would definitely
consider switching units. Do any of
the other note takers have better MS Word
support?

they found serious limitations in that
unit's web browser.
So if possible, try the unit before you buy!
Especially the web
browser and all other features that are of
particular importance
to you.

the unit and found
it did not meet their needs has been
remedied, but do try to get
a hands-on demo of all features before you
buy.
