I believe you are talking about the Jacksonville ACB conference, where people reported that system required the press of the alt key. I don't know if that system shows up very many other places because I just haven't heard many people mentioning having that problem at other hotels.

A couple of years or so back there were problems at one of the

conferences when users of Braille PDA's couldn't log in. I think

because of a control character, or something that had to be
entered and you
needed a keyboard.

My husband's work is just going over to WIFI and I want to ensure
that our
BN's can make it too, so would be grateful if anyone can refresh
my memory
on this one.
